Mike Diamond was a professional wrestler better known as Kortsia Korchenko or Skull Murphy, Jr..

Career

Mike Diamond started wrestling in 1984 as Skull Murphy, Jr. in Tennessee's Mid-Southern Wrestling.

In 1986, he changed him gimmick to that of the Russian Kortsia Korchenko. He went to Mid-South Wrestling just as it was changing into the Universal Wrestling Federation and started a feud with the patriotic Bill Watts
. He joined Eddie Gilbert's "Hot Stuff, Inc." and often teamed with Ivan and Nikita Koloff
. When Jim Crockett Promotions purchased the UWF, Diamond went back to the independents.

He died on June 6, 1991 in an auto accident.
