Athletes - Mike Enos

Mike Enos was a professional wrestler who wrestled in World Championship Wrestling, the American Wrestling Association and the World Wrestling Federation.

Career

Mike Enos started wrestling in the late 1980s after being trained by Eddie Sharkey. At first he worked as a referee, then later as a wrestler under the names "The Construction Worker" Mike Enos and "Mean" Mike Enos. He formed a tag team called The Destruction Crew with Wayne Bloom
and they won the AWA World Tag Team Championship.

In 1990, Enos and Bloom left for World Championship Wrestling, where they wrestled under masks as the Minnesota Wrecking Crew 2 and were managed by Ole Anderson
. They attempted without success to win the NWA World Tag Team Championship from The Steiner Brothers. Mike also made a one-off appearance in 1990 as the (masked) third member of The Skyscrapers, being called simply "the Masked Skyscraper".

In 1991, they went to the World Wrestling Federation as The Beverly Brothers, with Mike being Blake Beverly and Wayne being Beau. They were managed by The Genius
, and feuded with The Bushwackers, Money Inc., and The Natural Disasters.

They left the WWF in 1993 and split up their team. Enos went on to wrestle in All Japan Pro Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling before returning to WCW in late 1994, where he was initially known as The Mauler, before wrestling under his real name. He teamed with Dick Slater
as "Rough & Ready" and briefly teamed with Bloom once again. He was managed by Col. Rob Parker
but really did not have much success in WCW. Enos retired from wrestling in 2000.
