Career

Mike Taylor grew up in Hawaii where he became interested in pro wrestling. His favorite wrestler was Rowdy Roddy Piper. In high school he played football and he wrestled. In college he went out for the football team. He then joined the Marines. He spent four years there before coming back to train with OVW. In September 2005, Taylor debuted for Deep South Wrestling, LLC in a tag team with Tony Santorelli (Tony Stradlin) called High Impact.
