Nathaniel "Tiny" Archibald (born September 2, 1948 in New York City) is a former professional basketball player. He is 6' 1" (1.85 m).

He first played basketball at Dewitt Clinton High School from 1963 to 1966. He was named team captain in 1966.

He then went to college first to Arizona Western College and then transferred to the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) where he had three great seasons there from 1967 to 1970.

He was drafted in the second round of the 1970 NBA Draft by the Cincinnati Royals.

Archibald was a penetrator supreme, a pinpoint passer and an outside shooter with great range. "Tiny's" quickness and swooping passes made him difficult to guard in the open court, and he was a potent triple threat with his penetration, passing and shooting.

Archibald had a stellar 13-year career in the NBA, most notably with the Kansas City Kings and Boston Celtics. In 1973 he led the NBA in scoring and assists, becoming the first (and so far only) player ever to do so. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time team.

Archibald led the NBA in free throws made 3 times and free throw attempts 2 times. He competed in 876 professional games, scored 16,841 points (18.8 points per game), dished out 6,476 assists, was an all-NBA selection 3 times (1973, 1975, 1976). An All-NBA selection 2 times (1972, 1981). A 7-time NBA All-Star Game selection (1973, 1974, 1975 , 1976, 1980, 1981, and 1982), he was named the 1981 NBA All-Star Game MVP.

He won his first and only NBA championship with the Boston Celtics in the 1980-1981 season alongside NBA star Larry Bird.
