Nichloas "Niko" Dimitrakos (born May 21 1979 in Boston, Massachusetts) is a professional hockey player and plays right wing for the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League. Niko graduated from Matignon High School in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1997. He was first introduced to Hockey at age four by his uncle and has loved it ever since. He is of Greek (father) and Italian (mother) origins.

Playing Career

Niko was drafted 155th overall (5th round) by the San Jose Sharks in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. Niko was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers on March 9 2006.

  • 2001-02: NCAA East Second All-American Team
  • 2001-02: Hockey East Second All-Star Team
