Athletes - Noreen Greenwald

Noreen "Nora" Greenwald (born September 7, 1978 in Forest Lake, Minnesota), better known by her stage name Molly Holly is a professional wrestler who worked for World Championship Wrestling and later World Wrestling Entertainment's RAW brand until April 2005.

Career

Greenwald started wrestling as Starla Saxton in 1997 after being trained by Dean Malenko and Jeff Bradley
in Tampa, Florida. She worked on the independent circuit and wrestled for WWF and WCW as a jobber.

She gained some fame in WCW as Miss Madness, one of Randy Savage's valets along with Gorgeous George
and Madusa. This heel group, called "Team Madness", would interfere in matches for the benefit of Savage. Eventually, Savage turned on her and she became Mona, a face wrestler.

She next showed up in WWF as Lady Ophelia, a dark match wrestler. Her name was changed to Molly Holly so that she could join her "cousins" Bob Holly
and Crash Holly
. She went through an on-screen courtship with Spike Dudley. In July 2001 she dumped Spike to become Mighty Molly, superhero sidekick to The Hurricane
. She eventually left him to become a full-time solo wrestler, taking his Hardcore Championship in an ambush but promptly losing it to Christian. She then returned to the name Molly Holly, and feuded with Ivory
, Lita
, Trish Stratus,Victoria
, and Stacy Keibler
. Her feud with Victoria also resulted in Greenwald getting her head shaved by Victoria at Wrestlemania XX, after losing the Women's Championship Title Match.

Greenwald requested her release from WWE on April 12, 2005. She has stated that she has no intention on returning to wrestling full-time, though she has done some work with Vince Russo and his Christian-themed "Ring of Glory" promotion. Greenwald now does a lot of charity work, works construction jobs and tinkers with old cars as a hobby.

In August 2005, Greenwald released a DVD entitled "Nora Greenwald: Shootin' the Shi Crap," in which she discusses her wrestling career, being a born-again Christian and her future plans.
