| Norman S. Taber (September 3, 1891 - July 15, 1952) was an American middle distance runner who set a world record over the Mile in 4:12.6 min in Cambridge, Massachusetts in July 1915. His record was not broken until 1923 when Paavo Nurmi ran 4:10.4. Taber also won a bronze medal over 1500m at the Olympic Games in Stockholm 1912.
