Olin Kreutz (Born:June 9, 1977 in Honolulu, Hawaii) is an American football player. He is a starting center and current member of the Chicago Bears.

High school career

Kreutz attended Saint Louis High School in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he lettered in football, wrestling, and track&field. In football, as a senior, he was the team captain, an All-State pick, and a SuperPrep All-America selection. In wrestling, he won the Hawaii State Wrestling Heavyweight Championship as a senior.

Professional career

Drafted as the 3rd pick of the 3rd round in the 1998 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears, Kreutz is widely considered one of the top centers in the NFL. A 5 time Pro Bowl player, Kreutz has spent his entire career in Chicago. In a recent altercation with teammate Fred Miller at an FBI gun shoot, Kreutz broke the fellow offensive lineman's jaw. The NFL recently fined both players $50,000.

Kruetz played college football at the University of Washington where he was a two year starter, earning all Pac-10 honors during his junior year before being forced to leave school because of his attack on a teammate that resulted in a broken jaw that ended his teammate's career.

During the offseason, Kreutz lives in Honolulu with his wife Wendi and their two children.
