Osvaldo Jose (Jr.) Virgil (b. December 7, 1956 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico) was a catcher and designated hitter with an eleven year career from 1980 to 1990. He played for the Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves both of the National League and the Toronto Blue Jays of the American League. He was elected to the All-Star team twice (1985 and 1987).

His father, Ozzie Virgil, Sr.
, was also a major league player.
