| Peter McNeeley (born October 6 1968) is a heavyweight boxer from Massachusetts. Best known for his 89 second meeting with Mike Tyson in 1995, Peter has spent the last few years getting his life back in order after the celebrity lifestyle he was thrown into seemed to be getting out of control. Now living in Norwood, Massachusetts McNeeley has settled down, and still dedicates his time in the gym teaching others to box. Apart from the fight with Tyson, other notable opponents include Eric Esch and Henry Akinwande. Esch stopped McNeeley in the first round in their meeting in 1999, which Akinwande was able to stop him in the second round of their meeting in 2001.
