| Phil Verchota (born December 28, 1956) in Duluth, Minnesota was American ice hockey forward. Phil is best known for being a member of the Miracle On Ice 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team won the gold medal team. Phil was also a member of the 1984 U.S. Olympic hockey team. Phil attended the University of Minnesota.
