Rashad Shaheed Anderson (born November 9 1983 in Lakeland, Florida) is a senior who plays guard/forward for the UConn Huskies. He is 6' 5" 215 lbs. and currently averages 14.6 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Rashad's high for points in a game is 33 versus Morehead State University, whom the Huskies beat 129-61. In high school, he averaged 22.8 points per game, and was an All-American and a Top 50 recruit as a senior.

During the regional semifinals of the 2006 NCAA National Tournament against the Washington Huskies, Anderson scored a three point basket off a handoff from Marcus Williams, despite heavy defensive coverage, with less than two seconds remaining in regulation, sending the game into overtime with a score of 82 to 82. The Huskies went on to win in overtime, 98 to 92. Hours before their Elite 8 matchup with George Mason, Anderson made a guarantee that the Huskies will win and make it to the Final Four. However, he was proved otherwise. The Huskies lost to the Patriots 86-84 in overtime and Anderson was remembered in shooting an air ball with 30 seconds left.
