| Rainer Gustavo "Ray" Olmedo (born May 31, 1981 in Maracay, Aragua State, Venezuela) is a Major League Baseball shortstop who has played plays for the San Francisco Giants (2003) and Cincinnati Reds (2004). He is a switch-hitter batter and throws right-handed. In 79 games Olmedo has batted .239 (55-230), with 17 RBI, 24 runs, six doubles, one triple and one stolen base. See also
