Reginald DeVincey Wayne (born November 17, 1978 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is an American football wide receiver who currently plays for the Indianapolis Colts. He was drafted by the Colts out of the University of Miami with the 30th pick in the first round of the 2001 NFL Draft. After the season he was going to be a free agent, but Indianapolis signed to a 6-year $39.5 million contract.

High school career

Wayne attended John Ehret High School in Marrero, Louisiana, where he was a two-sport standout in both football and track. In football, he was a two-time All-State honoree, and as a senior, caught 50 passes for 930 yards (18.6 yards per reception average) and 10 touchdowns. In track, he ran the 200-meter dash and various relays.
