| Rob Lytle was a National Football League Running Back for the Denver Broncos (1977-1983). Lytle is from Fremont, Ohio and attended the University of Michigan (1973-1976). He was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1977 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos (45th Overall). Lytle was a consensus All-American as a Senior in 1976, setting a then Michigan record with 1,469 rushing yards and finishing 3rd in the Heisman Trophy balloting behind Tony Dorsett and Ricky Bell. After his college career, Lytle spent 7 seasons in the NFL with the Broncos. During that time, he rushed for 1,451 yards, caught 61 passes for 562 yards, returned 6 kickoffs for 99 yards, and scored 14 touchdowns (12 rushing and 2 receiving). He also scored the only touchdown of the game for the Broncos in Super Bowl XII.
