| Robert Quiroga (October 10, 1969 in San Antonio, Texas - August 16, 2004 in San Antonio) was the International Boxing Federation super flyweight champion from 1990 to 1993. Quiroga successfully defended his title 5 times and retired in 1995. He finished with 20-2 with 11 KO's. A passer-by on Interstate 10 flagged down an officer who found Quiroga lying next to his car. Quiroga had been stabbed multiple times. Ricky Merla, a former member of the motorcycle club The Bandidos, is being sought by police in connection with Quiroga's death.
