Ron Swoboda (born June 30, 1944) was a Major League Baseball player, debuting on April 12 with the New York Mets in 1965 and playing his final game on September 30, 1973.

Swoboda played with the Mets from 1965 to 1971. In the 1969 World Series, Swoboda made a famous catch of a ball hit by Brooks Robinson
. The Mets would win the game and the Series.

In 1971, Swoboda and Rich Hacker were traded to the Montreal Expos; later that year, the Expos traded Swoboda to the New York Yankees. He was released by the Yankees in 1973, and signed by the Braves in 1974, who released him on March 25 of that year.
