Ryan Hoag (born November 23, 1979 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) was "Mr. Irrelevant" in the 2003 NFL Draft, being picked last overall by the Oakland Raiders in the seventh round. Hoag, who played at Minneapolis Washburn High School and Division III Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, was a member of the Minnesota Vikings practice squad in 2004. Although he has never caught a ball in a regular season game, in the 2005 Preseason, he had his one moment of glory, a 44 yard catch from third string Quarterback Shaun Hill with 1:27 left in the fourth quarter against the Seattle Seahawks that set up the game winning field goal by Paul Edinger. Unfortunately however, he was cut from the Vikings on September 4, 2005 due to roster limits.
