| Ryan Thelwell (born April 6, 1973) known to the British Columbia Lions fans as "Automatic" (because of his ability to always catch the ball), is a wide receiver on the British Columbia Lions. Thelwell was born in Jamaica but grew up in the city of London, Ontario, and later attended the University of Minnesota. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League.
