Athletes - Sage Rosenfels

Sage Rosenfels (born March 6, 1978 in Maquoketa, Iowa) is a Jewish-American football quarterback with the Houston Texans of the NFL. Rosenfels was a solid college player at Iowa State University, and the Washington Redskins selected him in the 4th Round of the 2001 draft. He was acquired by the Miami Dolphins on August 22, 2002 in exchange for a seventh-round 2003 draft pick, but only threw 48 passes. He signed for the Texans as an unrestricted free agent on March 13th, 2006.

Rosenfels may be more notable for the fact that, during the 2004 season, he auctioned "The Sage Rosenfels Experience" on eBay, which offered the highest-bidding fan a chance to hang out with Rosenfels for one weekend during the season.
