Scott Drew is the head coach of Baylor University's men's basketball team. For one year, he was the head coach at Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana where his brother Bryce Drew played and his father, Homer Drew is the current head coach.

Coming to Baylor

Drew took the job at Baylor after the scandal in Baylor's men's basketball program in which former head coach, Dave Bliss, was accused of assisting in the coverup of a murder involving two of his players. After the resignation of Bliss and athletic director Tom Stanton, Drew was introduced as the new head coach. As fallout from the scandal, in Drew's first year, Baylor was prohibited from competing in any non-conference games at the start of the '05-'06 season.
