| Sedale Eugene Threatt (born September 10 1961 in Atlanta, Georgia) is a retired NBA player. He played college basketball at the West Virginia University Institute of Technology from 1979 to 1983. He was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the sixth round of the 1983 NBA Draft. He played four years for the 76ers until he was signed by the Chicago Bulls in 1987, then in 1988 he was traded to the Seattle SuperSonics. He stayed in Seattle for four years before he was signed by the Los Angeles Lakers on 1991 to back up Magic Johnson. In 1996-1997 he played 21 games for the Houston Rockets. During the same time he played for Greek team Larissa. He is currently in Australia teaching basketball to children, and he is working with the And 1 company.
