| Shaun Marcum (born December 14, 1981 in Kansas City, Missouri is a top pitching prospect for the Toronto Blue Jays. The Blue Jays drafted Marcum in the third round, 80th overall of the 2003 MLB Draft. Marcum has shot up through the minors since being drafted and made his MLB debut on September 6, 2005. He had a stellar year in 2005, despite a late season call-up.
He is one of the centerpieces of the future for the Blue Jays with his solid physical tools in addition to oustanding composure and strength on the mound.
