| Sidney Wood (November 1, 1911) was an American male tennis player. Wood was born in Black Rock, Connecticut. He went to school at The Hill School, where he invented the game of J-ball in 1955. In his career he has won one major tournament: Wimbledon Championships in 1931 and reached one Davis Cup final in 1934.
