| Terry Donahue (born June 24, 1944 in Los Angeles, California) is a college football coach, college football analyst, and NFL general manager. Donahue played defensive line at UCLA. After graduating, he became an assistant coach at the University of Kansas. In 1971, he returned to UCLA, where he later served as head coach at UCLA from 1976 to 1995. He was the lead college football analyst for CBS Sports from 1996 to 1998, and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2000. He was the hand-picked successor to Bill Walsh as general manager of the San Francisco 49ers (2001-2005). Reference
