Tommy Bowden (born July 10, 1954) is the head football coach at Clemson University. He is the son of Bobby Bowden, head coach at Florida State University. Bowden has never had a losing season at Clemson, and has a 6-1 record against in-state rival University of South Carolina. He is a 2 time ACC Coach of the Year. In the 2004 season, he became the first coach in NCAA history, to defeat 2 coaches with 200 or more wins in a 1 month span, in Bobby Bowden, and Lou Holtz. During his 1st year, his Clemson team broke 46 school records.

Bowden previously was the head coach at Tulane, and an assistant at the University of Alabama, Auburn University, Duke University, the University of Kentucky, East Carolina University, and with his dad at Florida State.
