| Thomas Franklin McDonald (born July 26, 1934) was a great running back for the University of Oklahoma. He received the Maxwell Award in 1956 and was All-American two years running. He played for the great Bud Wilkinson in the 1950s. McDonald entered the NFL in 1957 and played for twelve years as a wide receiver. Drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles, he helped lead them to a 1960 NFL Championship. He was selected for six Pro Bowls during his NFL career. He also played for the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams, Atlanta Falcons and Cleveland Browns. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1998.
