| Tsuyoshi Wada (Japanese:和田毅, February 21 1981 - , in Konan, Aichi) is a Japanese baseball player. He plays for the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks, in the Pacific League. He is a left handed pitcher. Having appeared at Koshien for the high school national championships he was drafted by the then Fukuoka Daiei Hawks. He won the Pacific League Rookie of the year award in 2003, having a record of 14 wins and 5 losses and an ERA of 3.38 over 26 games. In the following season he went 10-6 with a 4.35 ERA, a performance that still ranked 12th in Japan.
