| Vincent Joseph Boryla (b. March 11, 1927 in East Chicago, Indiana) was a pro basketball player, coach, and executive. He played for the New York Knicks in the 1950s, after a college career at the University of Denver. He later became the Knicks' coach, from 1956 to 1958. Later in his career, he would become the general manager of the ABA's Denver Nuggets and Utah Stars, rejoining the Nuggets later when the franchise joined the NBA. He would win the NBA Executive of the Year Award with the Nuggets in 1984. Boryla is now retired from basketball. Boryla has been inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, and the National Polish-American Hall of Fame.
