| Mark Vince Perkins (born on September 27, 1981 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada) is a minor league pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays. Originally drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 49th round of the 1999 draft. However, he didn't sign and entered the 2000 draft, where he was selected by the Blue Jays in the 18th round. He played one year of baseball at Lake City Community College before signing as draft and follow with Toronto. He made his professional debut in 2002 with the Auburn Doubledays of the New York-Penn League. In 2004 he was put on the Blue Jays 40-Man roster and was named as the Blue Jays' 8th best prospect in early 2005, and 10th best in 2006. In 2005 he made his Double A debut with the New Hampshire Fishercats, where he went 7-7 with an ERA of 4.03 and 111 strikeouts. He was a childhood friend of Oakland Athletics pitcher Rich Harden.
