| Wayne Franklin (born March 9, 1974 in Wilmington, Delaware) is an American baseball relief pitcher for the New York Yankees. He previously played for the Houston Astros (2000-2001), Milwaukee Brewers (2001-2003), and San Francisco Giants (2004). Prior to the 2004 season, Franklin was a starting pitcher. As a starter for the Brewers in 2003, he allowed more home runs than any pitcher in the major leagues. Franklin bats and throws left-handed.
