Destiny's Road is a science fiction novel by Larry Niven first published in 1997. It follows Jemmy Bloocher's exploration of Destiny's Road - a huge scar seared onto the planet's surface caused by a spaceship's fusion drive. Jemmy decended from the original Destiny colonists, who were stranded when their landing craft (which created the Road) deserted them.

In the start of the novel, the main character is around age 10. The novel then proceeds to skip through time in the various sections of the book including his teenage and young adult years, ending when he is in his forties.

The story focuses on the ways in which life on planet Destiny proceeds. One interesting concept used in the story is "Speckles", a mysterious substance that is farmed and sold by travelling merchants. Speckles are a kind of powder like substance that a person must consume or else they face death. This suggests that speckles are some type of vitamin suppliment that provides needed sustinance that cannot otherwise be acquired through life. Towards the end of the novel, Jemmy discovers what speckles really are.
