| iCon Steve Jobs: The Greatest Second Act in the History of Business is a book by Jeffrey S. Young and William L. Simon that documents the return of Apple Computer CEO Steve Jobs to the company in 1996. The book was published in 2005 by John Wiley & Sons (ISBN 0471720836). The book generated some controversy when Steve Jobs personally banned all books published by Wiley from Apple retail stores in retaliation for publishing the unauthorized biography. The book also attracted criticism from Alan Deutschman, who pointed to the similarity of the book's content to previous biographies. These include his own biography of Steve Jobs, The Second Coming of Steve Jobs, Jeffrey S. Young's previous biography Steve Jobs: The Journey Is the Reward, and William L. Simon's biography of Gil Amelio, On the Firing Line.
