Myths to Live By is a collection of mythologist Joseph Campbell's lectures delivered between 1958 and 1971. The common theme running through them all is the deep power of myth on the inner, spiritual lives of human beings throughout the ages. This includes our own age, whether we personally admit or recognize it. It was published by Penguin Books; the reprint edition (February 1, 1993) is a 288 page paperback, ISBN 0140194614. It was originally published in 1972.
