Pole to Pole is a book and documentary, released in 1992, narrated by Michael Palin. It records a year long trip from the North Pole to the South Pole distaining from aircraft travel when he can. Palin's journey was also filmed and broadcast on television on the BBC. Michael travels through what was then the Soviet Union, parts of Europe, and through the heart of Africa. A diversion to Chile includes South America in the series.

The series is now available on DVD in the United Kingdom , and is often repeated on UKTV Documentary, along with Palin's other series.

Palin's 1991 Pole to Pole journey coincided with several major world events taking place in countries included in his itinerary. Shortly after departing Odessa, an attempted coup in Moscow marked the end of the Soviet Union. The Pole to Pole crew were also among the first foreign visitors to travel through post-Mengistu Ethiopia and post-Kaunda Zambia.
