The Clocks (published in 1963) is a detective fiction novel by Agatha Christie featuring the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot.PlotSheila Webb, a typist-for-hire, arrives at her new job to find a well-dressed corpse surrounded by six clocks. Four of them are stopped at 4:13, and one of them, a leather clock embossed with the name "Rosemary" soon disappears. And unfortunately, the blind mistress of number 19 Wilbraham Crescent never saw a thing.
