The Golden Apples of the Sun is a collection thirty-two of the most famous short stories by Ray Bradbury. It is named after the Yeats poem The Ballad of Wandering Aengus, which has the lines:I will find out where she has gone The book was originally published in 1953 with twenty-two stories. The 1997 edition removed two stories (The Pedestrian and Hail and Farewell), and added twelve more. The book is currently published under the title A Sound of Thunder and Other Stories (2005).
