A compact, light, or mini SUV refers to a class of small sport utility vehicles, especially those with only 2 doors, and are between 3,60 and 4,00 metres long (cars under 3,40 meter in length in Japan are classified as K-Cars (Kei Jidosha)). Many recent compact SUVs are crossover SUVs, as they don't have off-road .
Examples of compact SUVs include the Jeep Wrangler, the Geo Tracker/Suzuki Sidekick, and the Suzuki Samurai.
