The Dodge Mirada was a mid-size coupé available from Dodge from 1980 to 1983. It replaced the Dodge Magnum and used the rear-wheel drive Chrysler J platform, shared with the concurrent Chrysler Cordoba and Imperial. Engines were the Slant 6, a 318 in³ LA V8 and in 1980 only, a 360 in³ LA V8.
Although mid-size coupes were tremendously popular at the time, the Mirada was a poor seller and did not compete successfully with rival Ford] and General Motors models. The Mirada was replaced in Dodge's lineup by the 600 coupe.
