Cars - Mazda Millenia

The Mazda Millenia was originally planned as the Pegasus, a midsize luxury car for Mazda's luxury brand, Amati. It was introduced in 1995, the same year as its competitor, the Toyota Avalon
. Instead, it was sold as an entry-level luxury car with the Mazda brand. Also, it replaced the Mazda 929
in North America. It was never a huge success, despite an innovative 2.3 L Miller cycle V6 engine. But when they arrived at dealerships, the Millenia stalled while the Avalon soared. Production stopped in 2002, with the smaller Mazda6 replacing the car in the lineup. The Millenia S sedan is the only production car in the world to employ a Miller cycle engine.

In Japan, Mazda sold the Millenia under its Eunos brand as the Eunos 800.

Engines:
  • 2.5 L KL-ZE V6
  • 2.3 L KJ-ZEM V6 (Miller cycle) - 210 bhp
