Adalon is a fictional character from Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. She is a silver dragon who lives in the Underdark. She is part of the plot quests and helps you to get to the Drow city of Ust Natha.

Overview

The protagonist first encounter with Adalon is in a cave near the Gate to Ust Natha, where her eggs are being held captive by the drow to ensure that Adalon does not interfere with their conflict with the elves. As the only way to enter the city of Ust Natha is to be drow, Adalon agrees to cast an illusion spell that causes one to look and sound as a drow all he's/she's life.

After helping out Phaere and Mother mother Ardulace wants to summon a demon in order to help in the battle with the surface elves. Phaere wants to replace the real egge with fake eggs(with a marking that Phaere can recognise), so that she can be the new Matron mother.

Later as the protagonist appproaches the temple your met by Solaufein(if the protagonist saved Solaufein'S life), who wants Phaere dead as well, so he gives a another set of fake eggs, that Phaere can't recognize.

When Mother Ardulace summons the demon, she offers silver dragon eggs in order to get he's favor. however the demon see the eggs as fake and kills the marton mother.

If the protagonist is good, you can also give the soulafeins fake eggs to her at her house at thew female fighters society, and she gets killed as well. You then have to escape the city because your secret iddentiy is starting to fade, soon enough you have to get out the city as fast you can, or you'll have to face alot of drow in battle.

when you give her the eggs, she gives you her thanks and a magical crossbow as an award. She also temporarily transform into a human an then she teleports you to the exit door of the underdark. Where you leave and return to the surface.

If the protagonist is EVIL he/she can give Phaere the REAL eggs, but then the protagonist has to deal with an angry silver.
