Plot

The Alpha Site prepares to help several Tok'ra, who come through the Stargate. They also bring a Zatarc detector. In the last moment Jacob Carter comes through, only to be shot in the side by a Staff weapon. It also appears that only a forth of the Tok'ra survived the battle. One of them named Malek comments about the Jaffa on the base.

Later one of the fallen Tok'ra is vaporized by the activated Stargate during a funeral but soon thereafter a battle starts between a Jaffa and a Tok'ra. However there are also further problems between the two parties. Col. O'Neill then talks with Jacob about the dispute between the Jaffa and the Tok'ra and the nature of the two parties.

Later Major Carter tells her team mates that someone tried to manipulate a Naquadah reactor and they inform General Hammond on Earth about it. Jonas, who is on Earth, has to stay there, much to his protest. The base is then locked up, and they talk with the Tok'ra about the incident. They also start to use the zatarc detector on the people on the base to find the saboteur, at first on the Tok'ra. When they want to check the Jaffa they find one Tok'ra dead and accuse a Jaffa on it, who was quarrelling with the Tok'ra before. He is then examined by the detector and when it turns out that he lies, he is arrested. However they wait for the autopsy and it is revealed that the Tok'ra was killed very professionally. They then find the accused Jaffa dead, perhaps killed by the same weapon.

When the dead body is brought away the conflict erupts between the Jaffa and the Tok'ra and both parties hold their weapons on one another. Suddenly Bra'tac finds footprints of an unknown person and it turns out that it is no one from the base because all are present. So the create teams, each with a human, a Jaffa and a Tok'ra and start to search the forests. After some time Teal'c finds one of the teams dead and informs O'Neill. Bra'tac and Malek are then attacked and Bra'tac starts fighting with the invisible force. He is however wounded and pulled away. Malek then informs O'Neill and tells him that Bra'tac is dead. However Teal'c is not so pleased about this and nearly strangles Malek. He then informs the others about the invisible force and they then plan on creating a high-frequency electromagnetic field to decloak the enemy.

At the base all gather, while Malek and Carter prepare the naquadah reactor for the field. The people then prepare to defend the Stargate but before they find out that their enemy is an Ashrak. While all the people wait for the field to be ready, the Ashrak suddenly attacks the people at the base and hurts many of them, while one person is hit by friendly fire. However he can flee. During the fight one member of an SG team looses his GDO.

Finally the field is ready and suddenly they can see the enemy. They attack him but he again disappears. While they prepare to reactivate the reactor the Ashrak attacks again and then disappears. When the field is ready again, the Ashrak wants to attack but he is suddenly shot by Bra'tac, who is still alive. The Ashrak is finally killed and Bra'tac reveals that he was left to die in the forest. Malek then gives him his hand and asks for his forgiving and Bra'tac accepts. In the end both the Tok'ra and the Jaffa are able to forget their quarrel, thanks to the words of Bra'tac.
