Arcanite is a metal in the fictional Warcraft universe. According to the Warcraft d20 Roleplaying Game, Arcanite is a dull, flexible type of metal that can be forged to an edge sharper than iron and steel.

In WarCraft III, it is used by the Orcish Horde.

In the expanded universe of the World of Warcraft MMORPG, arcanite is very scarce and highly valuable. It is the most sought after metal in crafting, even more than Dark Iron. Only an alchemist can create arcanite: a Philosopher's stone is used to transmute an Arcane Crystal and a Thorium Bar. An alchemist can only do this every 48 hours, thus increasing the scarcity of arcanite. The Arcane Crystal itself is quite rare, it must be mined from a Rich Thorium vein.
