Bald Bull is a fictional character from Nintendo's Punch-Out!! Series. Bald Bull has made the most video game appearances out of any of the Punch-Out!! boxers. The mad man from Istanbul first appeared in the 1984 arcade hit Punch-Out!! and then went on to two appearances in the NES game Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!. Little Mac first faces Bald Bull as the Major Circuit Champion and then once again as the the #3 ranked competitor in the WVBA World Circuit. Amazingly Bull makes another comeback on the SNES in Super Punch-Out!! as the Minor Circuit Champion. Lastly Bull can also be found in a surprise cameo appearance as the mysterious Mask X in the arcade game Arm Wrestling.

In Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! Bald Bull is most famous for his 'Bull Charge' in which he backs up several steps and then charges forward at an alarming rate delivering a fast and wickedly powerful uppercut. This uppercut sends inexperienced players to the canvas in a single hit, however a carefully timed body blow will send Bald Bull to the mat instead. Big right hooks, uppercuts and spinning jabs are also part of Bald Bull's repertoire; but by sticking, moving and a mastery of the Bull Charge, Little Mac will soon find himself victorious. When this Turkish titan returns later in the world circuit only a powerful uppercut from Mac can knock him down... and when he is down he waits for a nine count before returning to his feet. So Bald Bull can put up a tough fight, but luckily he gives up quite a few 'stars' to his smaller opponents.

Bald Bull is somewhat easier to defeat in the SNES Super Punch-Out!! with a weaker defense, but he still comes packing the power of his powerful 'Bull Charge'. So through tormenting video game players through four popular games, Bald Bull has become a video game icon and has earned a special place in the world of Nintendo.
