Bangoo is a fictional character from the Soul series of games. Not much is known about bangoo, as he never appears in person in any of the four games. All that is known about him is that when Nathaniel "Rock" Adams came to the new land, all the natives didn't like him. One boy, however, took a liking to Rock. This boy spoke Rock's language and showed him the land and how to live off it. Eventually, Rock took Bangoo under his wing and treated him like a son. According to information given in Soul Caliber III, over time Bangoo wanted to go on a quest. Rock agreed, and saw him off. To prove to Bangoo that he himself wasn't losing his boldness, Rock chose to once again take up the hunt for Soul Edge.
