Broken Arms Gordon is the term used to describe a graphical glitch that occurs during recorded playback in the Counter-Strike computer video-game. Description
Counter-Strike allows users to record what is called a demo, which can be viewed at a later time for review of gameplay. In versions 1.3 and earlier, a demo playback glitch caused the client to display, instead of Counter-Strike terrorist and counter-terrorist skins, the default skin that a player had chosen. Since this default skin is typically the main character of Half-Life, Gordon Freeman, Gordon himself typically appears when there is a glitch. However, the character movement and mechanics are much different in Counter-Strike when compared to Half-Life, so the model appears disjointed, and ultimately humorous to view. The slang for this glitch is to call the player "Broken Arms Gordon". Related links
