Bushtarion is an online multiplayer strategy war game that is played through a web browser. The game is played with one registered account from which you run a fictional company. The aim is to become the biggest company in existence through planning, diplomacy, brute force and other methods. Players can purchase land, steal land or develop new technologies and hire a huge variety of units. Players can also plant and grow seeds on land they own, to raise revenue by selling the grown plants for money. Players can become allies with other players.

Bushtarion is a tick based strategy game (as opposed to a real time strategy game). The game runs a tick every 10 minutes, which takes roughly 5 seconds to do. Each time it "ticks over", events happen - eg. armies move closer to their targets, battles occur, etc.
