The C4 chip (sometimes called CX4) is a math coprocessor used by Capcom in its Super Nintendo series Mega Man X. It is most well-known for its role in mapping and transforming wireframes, such as those seen in each game's final scenes. The only two games to use the chip were Mega Man X2 (1994) and Mega Man X3 (1995).
