Plot

The episode starts with Daniel sitting in a room full of artifacts and books, researching. Suddenly a woman appears in the room and helps him. Afterwards she introduces herself as Sarah Gardner. Afterwards we see Daniel sleeping with a strange device attached to his temple, while Osiris sits at his side, having the same device attached to her temple.

In a coffee shop Samantha Carter is sitting at a table when suddenly a man appears and starts flirting with her. After some time she kisses him and it is revealed that they already know each other. After some additional talk, Sam leaves. At Stargate Command she talks with Daniel, who tells her about his strange dream when she enters an elevator and starts talking with Jack, whom she tells about her new friend, Pete Shanahan, and that it was a setup.

At night Osiris appears again and enters Daniel's dream. In this dream she (as Sarah) starts to make more contact with Daniel and also introduces herself as a great fan of him. Suddenly she stops the connection and uses an Asgard transporter to leave the room, when Daniel wakes up confused.

At day, Sam has a date with Pete, but when he kisses her at her home, she breaks up, nervous. In another of Daniel's dreams, Sarah shows him a tablet with strange symbols (the same tablet, which in reality revealed the existence of a lost city of the Ancients to SG-1) and tells him about it. Enthusiastically he starts translating it. In the morning at SGC Daniel is extremely tired and talks with Sam and Teal'c about his dream. They think it has possibly something to do with when he was ascended. In his next dream Daniel has found out more about the tablet and tells Sarah about it and in reality he talks with Teal'c again about his dream.

In the evening Sam has a date with Pete, where she goes dancing with him and afterwards they spend the night together in Sam's house. In the meantime Daniel again has a dream about the tablet and Sarah. In the morning Pete talks with Sam about his past and later leaves a bit frustrates about the fact that Sam doesn't tells him about her work. In his car he contacts a friend of the FBI and asks him to find out more about Sam, who later reveals to him about what he found out.

At SGC Daniel again talks with Sam and Teal'c about his dreams and Sarah. This time Teal'c reveals that there is a Goa'uld device which allows them to enter other people's dream. They talk with Jack and General Hammond about it and develop a plan to capture Osiris – however after Daniel was able to find the Lost City. Sam later talks with Jack about her relationship with Pete.

At night SG-1 (without Daniel who is in his home) supervises Daniel's bedroom from a truck when suddenly Osiris appears. Jack and Teal'c enter Daniel's house but keep quiet until morning. In his dream Daniel finally gives up because he never knew where the city is. So Osiris ends the connection and attacks him with her hand device, but the others intervene. When Osiris can't use her transporter she leaves the house while attacking SG-1 with a small laser. Outside Pete appears but he and Sam are attacked by Osiris, who has activated a personal shield and finally blows up the truck. Afterwards she is stunned by Jack but Sam realizes that Pete was critically wounded.

At SGC Sarah wakes up, after finally being freed from Osiris, and cries at Daniel's shoulder. In another room Pete is visited by Sam who finally tells him the truth about her work and the Stargate.
