Games - Clearance Sale

Clearance Sale is a pricing game
on the American television game show, The Price Is Right
.
It is played for three prizes, usually valued between $500 and $3,000.

Gameplay

Host Bob Barker gives the contestant three price tags, each with "sale" prices on them, to place on each of the prizes. The idea was to place a specific tag on a prize whose actual retail price was lower than the "sale" tag.

If each of the tags are placed correctly (i.e., the actual retail price of a prize is higher than the "sale" price in all three instances), the contestant wins all three prices. The game is set so each tag corresponds to just one prize.

Trivia

Some fans consider Clearance Sale to be a near carbon copy of Eazy az 1 2 3
, thanks to similar rules. In theory, there could be more than one way to win, but the game has never been structured to allow that to happen.

Clearance Sale is the only pricing game that reguarly uses balloons in its setup.
